We will start with Reading the Bars and the Four Steps of the Market.

The Four Steps of the Market
The Four Steps of the Market is a conceptual and descriptive model of how the market goes about its' work. The purpose of a market is to distribute goods or services. In our business this is the distribution of stock shares or commodity contracts. This Four Step concept provides traders with a roadmap or geography of what the market is doing, where it can be expected to be next, when a change is occurring, and how distribution occurs.

Each step of the market is defined by BAR DATA behaviors.

Understanding the practical workings of the markets develops a mastery of analysis, effective trade execution, bet size and a defendable trade location.

These two conceptual frameworks (the Four Steps of the Market and Reading the Bars) create good risk management and the psychological confidence of knowing the advantages or disadvantages of your trade is within the ups and downs of the market.

The class will focus on teaching the student to "see" price behavior in a very simple matrix. This simple matrix and perspective gives the student the confidence of knowing what is happening in the market bar by bar.

The Quanbeck way of Reading Bars
Reading the bars is a unique method of acquiring market knowledge and market direction day by day. Reading the bars is an important skill taught by Mr. Quanbeck in his Market Knowledge Course.

The student gains the ability to understand what the present market is doing day by day. This understanding then leads to the ability to identify direction before traditional technical indicators signal a change or continuation in the market.

Most technical indicators are derivatives of the bar chart. Because they are an average they tend to be late and give the trader an average location to start the trade off. This average location does not afford the trader the opportunity to take a small loss or maximize the reward of a win.

What you need to bring to the class. What will be expected of you?

  • Laptop computer.
  • You must have the ability to enter trades on line through some type of trading platform like IB Trader Workstation or any other online trade execution software.

The cost of the seminar is $2500.00. All meals are included.

Please call 262-514-4137 to register.
